The book consists of a very detailed history of mostly german or dutch slide rule makers. But, it is strangely attractive.
The real question here, is one of adaptation, not art style. It follows and mother and son as they spend time at a local shelter trying to help dogs who may not look cute and cuddly but are actually diamond underneath all of their matted fur. That's how powerful this book is.
