Among his many books are "Essays in Positive Economics, A Program for Monetary Stability, Capitalism and Freedom, A Monetary History of the United States", and "The Optimum Quantity of Money".
James L. Adams is professor emeritus at Stanford University, where he chaired several programs, taught courses on design and creativity, and participated in many executive programs. I wasn't sure if this book would be what I was looking for but it's wonderful. The hour-wise timetable and end-of-Chapter tips are great for revisions. If you think you have read one to many WWII pieces, I urge you to try just one more!. I love this book and Turlough O'Carolan's tunes, originally for harp, but set here for piano. For the first time, we begin to understand Reagan's motivations and his make-up as we come to realize that his spiritual life and his public life were inexorably intertwined - and that his religious faith had a tremendous, positive impact on public policy.
Whether President Reagan's bold, courageous, and timely public declarations about the malevolent intentions of the former Soviet Union, for example, actually accelerated that country's demise may well have to be left to a thorough examination by future historians. I heartily endorse it."
