I read this book years ago before anyone had heard of Anne Heche, former "wife" of Ellen Degeneres and author of a new book, Call Me Crazy. If I'd had given them Kim's book to read, I'm sure they would have understood that what I was doing was healing and would restore my health. The information on towns, places to stay and eat, along with phone numbers is crucial for planning.. Parental and society expectations, a hard glimpse at the issues gay athlete's face, and some great dialogue make this one shine.. I enjoyed this book because it described the process I would go through to start to become a vegan. It is a good read for the times when you are not in the mood to make your mind work. And it was not unfounded. Only certain aspects of expression are acceptable. I was hoping for larger pictures because my husband has trouble seeing..
