My only gripe is the CD, but it seems all these piano book CDs have the same problem. If that sounds a bit fuzzy, and the lack of detailed plans puts you off (there are none in this book) I can try to reassure that all you need is here. Peterson worked by memory and sometimes the hull of an old dead bird or a photograph or two. This would be my only complaint and to say that I wanted more is not a bad complaint for an author to have!
I found "The Centurion's Commencement" to be an interesting and thought-provoking piece of short fiction. Kaplan has provided a quality review of the non-science that led to the dramatic increase in the diagnosis of biopolar disorder in children; the disorder that never was. Mind you, as a Stephen King fan, I am accustomed to novels with excessive foul language, so even the excesses in Sting did not turn me off. A necessary essential.. I'm a big fan o his books, but I have to confess that this one in particular was not one of the best I've read,
